Aa chal ke tujhe....

Aa chal ke tujhe main le ke chaloon ek aise gagan ke tale,

Sapno mein pali, hasti ho kali, jahaan shaam suhani dhale,
Jahaan gham bhi na ho, aansoon bhi na ho, bus pyaar hi pyaar pale...
Ek aise gahan ke tale...

Sapno ke aise jahaan mein, jahaan pyaar hi pyaar khila ho,
hum jaake wahaan kho jaayein, shikwa na koi gila ho.
Kahi bear na ho, koi gair na ho, sab milke yoon chalte chale,
Jahaan gham bhi na ho, aansoon bhi na ho, bus pyaar hi pyaar pale...
Ek aise gahan ke tale...

Aa chal ke tujhe main le ke chaloon ek aise gagan ke tale,
Jahaan gham bhi na ho, aansoon bhi na ho, bus pyaar hi pyaar pale.
Ek aise gahan ke tale...

is a very extra-ordinary song created by a very extra-ordinary man. I can keep listening to it all day long. Nothing calms down my mind so much as this song.

Most people know Kishore Kumar as a great singer. But do you know that he was also an accomplished Composer and a lyricist? And this song I believe is his best accomplishment as a  composer and as a lyricist. A beautiful song in very simple words but one that has a profound impact on you and so relevant in today's chaotic world.

This song is also special in another way. Every this about this song is Kishore Kumar. Kishore Kumar penned this song. He composed it and he sung it too. Not only that - he was also the Script writer, Producer, Director, and the lead actor of this movie - 'Door gagan ki chaaon mein'.  I don't think there's any other song in Bollywood that has the distinction of being created in its entirety by one man. Most songs have the lyrics penned by one man, music composed by somebody else and sung by a still third person.

There's one more song : Jhumroo - This song too was penned, composed and sung by Kishore Kumar. But Kishore Kumar wasn't the director of this movie.
